HIV testing available Monday through Thursday 10am-4pm. We prefer clients to call ahead to schedule a testing time to minimize duration in office, but walk ins will also be accepted. Southwest Comprehensive AIDS-care, Research and Education (CARE) Center has several clinics and offices located in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Farmington and Roswell. Southwest CARE Center is one of four HIV Service Provider (HSP) organizations that offer a comprehensive range of HIV care and support services to persons living with HIV in New Mexico. Southwest CARE Center's specialty clinic in Santa Fe primarily serves Santa Fe and eight additional northern counties of New Mexico.

  - Offers primary care, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV. Will accept insurance for PrEP visits and to get medication. Also will assist persons without insurance to get signed up and/or access patient-assistance programs that pay for PrEP. PrEP is offered at all three locations in Santa Fe (primary care on Galisteo Street and Alameda, as well as Specialty Care clinic on Harkle Road.)
